Indoor and outdoor workouts.. Thank God summer is here...

Here is a great article on Metabolic Conditioning .. please try n read it. You are going to need a CrossFit Journal password to access it. If you don’t have one email us and we will let you use ours. It explains why we do what we do.

Ever have someone tell you CrossFit “isn’t really working out”, or “good cardio”?? we all have those stories. Post em’ below. N Remember we don’t “workout” we “TRAIN CROSSFIT!!”…

 

 WOD:

Tabata (20 seconds work 10 seconds rest – 8 rounds each exercise. Complete all 8 rounds on the first exercise before moving to the next. Your last round rep count is your tabata score.)

1.       Squats

2.       Pull-ups

3.       Push-ups

4.       Sit-ups

    Fun workout. Not so fun after yesterday’s burpee pullups and benches though. My chest felt like I jumped on a grenade.

    Awesome to see so many people there. Things are continuing to grow. Drew nice to meet your wife. Matt you need to teach me how to olympic lift.

    Tonight’s UFC 98? Any predictions
    I’ve got:
    Rashad Evans over Machida- 2nd round knock out
    Frankie Edgar over Sean Sherk- split decision.
    Matt Hughes over Serra. they are both washed up and this will probably be thier last fight. split decision.

    I did not like todays workout. Looking forward to Memorial day.Lane, it was great to meet you. Congrats to Andrew on your turkish get up pr!
    UFC- Evans over Machida. Evans trains with Greg Jackson’s camp. Rashad will have Machida figured out. Sherk over Edgar by decision. Edgar was bullied by Maynard earlier this year. I expect the same. I will be rooting hard for Serra and don’t want to pick that fight.

    So TIna and I didnt get to train today.. BOOOOOOO we have such a saturated schedual right now. HAd to run out after trianing you guys and straight to a bbq surprise party.. Oh well better to be busy then have ohting to do … Next time

    Randy u didn’t like it but u didn’t quit! Ur doing awesome! I wish I got to do the workout but steve and I are the busiest people around I’m convinced!

    I liked the workout today. It was simple, basic, and TOUGH lol. I am sore already so tomorrow i will be hurting. I went to the Yankee game….15th row and the Yankees won in the 9th…SICKKKK….See you guys soon…

    PS – My Mom and Uncle are coming either Monday or next Saturday, soon my whole family will have their own wing of Crossfit Ignite haha

    John I’m jealous you went to the game! And yes you killed the workout today your getting stronger and stronger. Having ur sisters there was fun, and nw ur mom and uncle!!!! That’s awesome! Bring em in!

    And if all us Italians stand on one side your gym would be a little wop-sided. Get it? I’m allowed to say that cuz I’m Italian. Just don’t tell Aldo I said that Steve. LOL
