    Everyone killed yesterdays workout….double day on the pull-ups may make today very difficult…but nothing we can’t handle!!

    Great meeting everyone yesterday. Hard workout for me, but this morning I was feeling great… (disregarding the fire in my legs!)

    Here is a short lilttle blurb article i saw in Mens Health today::

    Deadlift:
    With shoes on you tend not to use the small musles in your feet. Thats bad. becausxe those muscles help with balance; shoeless lifting forces you to engage them, andalso works your glutes and hamstrings. (you depend moreon your quads when you deadlift with shoes on, and we all know its not a quad based exercise ,, RIGHT?).. Also because your closer to the ground w/out shoes your less likely to use bad form, such as rounding your back etc. It also says its the “New Way” but as with all these magazines they arwe wrong just like with kettlebell shoeless training has been around for hundreds of years..

    Tina……Hope those hands don’t hurt too much after tonight’s workout. A lesser person (such as myself!) would have quit.

    I swear that kettlebell spoke to me before. It said in a think Russian accent “I must break you”. Not today Ivan Drago……not today.

    John I don’t like stopping without finishing! Psychologically. It beats me up! But its safe to say that my hands are torn up! I drove home w my fingertips… Next couple days are gonna b a challenge! And btw ur kipping in no time!

    I thought for sure I was gonna slip right off. Having zero grip is an awful feeling. I had to use 2 hands to text and drive with my knee on the ride home. LOL

    Great job today everyone.. Killer on the pullups I love how everyone is really pushing themselves and progressing without us even pressing them..
    John O if those r ur goals then make the decision to do them and they will be done.. One u decide with your mind it all falls into place..
    My hands r shot n my for arms r ruined!

    I am starting to notice a rhyming trend emerging in Steve’s posts. I am not sure yet if he is slipping up and exposing a bit of a beatnick poet character, a supressed desire to be more like Dr. Seuss (I am not gonna’ look up the proper spelling right now, sorry), or perhaps an adiction to greeting cards… I’ll have to keep an eye on this…

    My hats off to Andy for helping me through day one of basic training, answering all my questions and showing me the how and why of it all.

    So is the new name for the kettle ball, the Drago ball?

    Hey guys… Just so u know I can get any supliment and vitamine u want at COST.. Anything omegas BCAA fiber liquid vitamines etc etc… The brand vitamines are “country life” everything else I can get whatever just ask
