    This workout looks sick!

Deb M. was a beast yesterday. I think it was the socks.

  3. Deb G on July 29th, 2009 1:18 pm

    Randy – LOL!
Maybe Tina and Steve should order up some Crossfit Ignite knee socks!

I needed to take 2 alleve last night. Today, my shoulders feel fine. If I slouch or stand with bad posture I feel it in my lower back. Anyone else experiencing this?

  5. JohnO on July 29th, 2009 3:40 pm

I’ve taken a couple of Alleve several times lately. It seems like as soon as one spot stops being sore, another sore spot appears, lol. The Alleve definitely helps.

Holy crap… 120 pushups and box jumps? I’m almost glad my neck still hurts!

  7. steve on July 29th, 2009 3:48 pm

Im always a bit sore in areas after WOD’s its the nature of the beast.. BUT negative sorness is a problem with form on a movement or an imbalance in your body ie; a tightness w lack of flexibility, weakness in stabilizers hence why we do L-sits n planks etc.. keep foam rolling and warming up correctly. you all are going for it at a high levle pace and this isnt working out its crossfit. So look at your body like a race car. IT moves very fast and takes ahuge beating. But constantly has to be maintained by tightneing bolts and greasing n oil change . you know what i mean.

Bad Brad you milkin that neck thing?

  9. steve on July 29th, 2009 3:49 pm

P.S you forgot the 30 40yd sprits were doing as well

  10. Brad on July 29th, 2009 5:55 pm

Steve, wish I was milking it… but I seriously trashed something in there, and I’m just not going to push it. It really sucks though, because even in just those first four days, I already noticed a HUGE difference in my body and how I felt, so showing up at crossfit was the only thing I wanted to do! But Friday evening came and everything just tightened up into a vice and I was out for the count. Getting better every day though!

  11. Deb G on July 29th, 2009 6:24 pm

ok, stop posting the totals for the WODs! It makes me want to stay home especially when I saw 30 40yd sprints!
Brad – on the bright side, when you do come back, something else will hurt and you wont feel any pain in your neck! Its that way for me! :)

  16. JohnO on July 29th, 2009 10:53 pm

I was hoping to do a double today, as I ran 4 miles this morning, but my wife put a stop to that. She said one workout a day is enough, lol.

  17. Randy on July 30th, 2009 2:23 am

Kudos to Gail on those double unders!!!

  19. Brad on July 30th, 2009 2:36 am

    Wow.

  20. andrew on July 30th, 2009 3:20 am

yeah so today was tough… eating only a vanilla donut and a bowl of teriyaki chicken and fried noodles all day do not help to drive you in a work out like this. I think it was somewhere around the 10 push ups that I lost feeling in my hands, and it took everything in me to not fall over for the last few sets, i couldn’t tell if the sweat on my chin was the pre puking spit or sweat… my time reflects my poor eating habits… 30:01

  21. Deb G on July 30th, 2009 3:54 am

that was a sick, sick work-out! it’s 11:52pm and i think i just about stopped sweating
