Hmm… I was really thinking “rest day”… but this WOD has a certain appeal to it. I guess I’ll have to see how I feel in the morning.
    G’night, all.

Can we rename todays workout: “KAREN you don’t know SQUAT”?

  3. Brad on August 20th, 2009 1:21 pm

So it’s heavy squat, and the wall ball is with a squat also, right? (never done them yet).

Wow.. talk about a leg day. I’m in!! GAME ON!!!

    Randy – love that name!
150 wall balls???? That’s insane! I dont think I could throw a koosh ball up to the target 150 times especially after the last two work-outs! Im sooooo sore all over.

I love the little extended pinky in the photo above… so refined.

Thanks Deb. The main crossfit website WOD is 150 wall balls. With NO SQUATS. We rock!

Although I stink at wall balls, I wish I could be there tonight. I like when we can compare our times with the main crossfit site people. It gives some perspective. Actually, it is pretty humbling. Sometimes, I think either those people on that site are animals or just plain lying when they report their times.

I just checked the comments on today’s workout on the main crossfit site. It looks like a lot of people substituted thrusters for the workout. Those that did it mainly were in the 10-11 minute timeframe. A few people were in the 6’s and 7’s. Even 10 minutes sounds pretty insane. That’s 1 every 4 seconds, with no breaks.

Wow… impressive. I was sucking some huge wind and climbing up the stairs to take a shower tonight was…. interesting to say the least after the 45 minute drive home.

Glad I came and toughed it out, but 4 days on is going to mean 3 days off for me.

Yeah today was a rough one. The heat is just overwhelming when you’re as UN-slim as myself. lol Came close to shouting at my shoes. But on the upside I did my PR front squat 3 times. Outstandish!!
