Well, I NEVER thought I’d hear Linkin Park used for Olympic ice dancing…I’ll have to wait for the link on YouTube!
Nutella, that tasty hazelnut and coco spread is something that I have just discovered. I have a varied, if not sophisticated and discriminating taste. And yet, there’s nothing snobby about me. I will celebrate the joys of dirty-water-dogs as much as a 5-star meal. However, I have come to question how I could not have known about NUTELLA for my entire life! I have seen it in the peanutbutter isle, just sitting there like an unassuming brunette seated at the end of the bar. Ohhh… the taste!!!!! You can’t keep your fingers outta the jar! I bought it yesterday and have eaten it on bread, on a spoon, on fingers, on ice cream… this morning I put as dollip in oatmeal and I have never liked oatmeal so much!!
Now… 2 tablespoons equals 200 cals w/ 11 grams of fat (3.5 saturated) … that’s 100 cals from fat. AND, the 1st ingrediant is SUGAR. Someone please tell me this stuff is good for you! All of Europe and Lance Armstrong can not be wrong! (My one daugther pointed-out that Lance probably consumes more calories a day than Michael Phelps and he eats a gazzillion; my other brilliant child suggested putting it in ice cream and now you know why the 1st kid thinks that the 2nd kid is my favorite! Try it on vanilla and you too will experience her brilliance!) I plan on eating it with a banana for a pre-ride meal in the morning! Nutella ROCKS! (It is better than Fluffenutter…. honest!)
Ahhhhh yes scot Nutella….probably the best tasting thing in the world. I no longer allow myself to buy it because I have no self control with it…it is that good! It works well with everythng…honest
Going to try to make it at 6 am tomorrow morning.
Good Lord… that pic of me doing the fast deadlifts… you’d think I have no idea what the hell I am doing.
There is no form… there is only Zuul…
Yea Randy! Come to the 6 AM but do not come tomorrow morning since there is no 6AM on Wednesdays….. Thursdays and Fridays are good, Mondays and Tuesdays are fun..but not Wednesdays. They are lonely and dark at 6 AM…

good article
Steve, thanks for the article link.
The paleo packs come in all sorts of different sizes now… but man, they are expensive.
Ostrim is introducing some good new products… they use lean ostrich meat…. but also some beef and vegetable protein in some of their jerky type products. One serving up to 40g protein… wonder how much salt.
Hockey was AWESOME Sunday night. We lost 3 to 2, but no goals were scored against while I was on the ice… in fact, I had about 5 shots on goal…. one stopped on the line, another off the left side bar…. BING!!!!! but went the wrong way. Had really good legs… recovered quickly.
Looking forward to todays Concept2 workout… not sure why though… a 60 second sprint is bad enough…. 90 second sprint? Yikes! Guess I’ll get a good baseline for what my “Sprints” are at the different distances.
During intense training, Lance A. eats 6 to 8 THOUSAND calories….
Nutella and FLUFF !!!! YEA!!!!!! Double sugar whammy.
And ooooOoohhhh…. look at my lovely love handles. hmm…. *hangs head in shame*
Could not wake up for 6 am this morning. I don’t know how you guys do it.
3270 meters and 210 push jerk… Very pleased with that. Could probably get 230 for the push jerk, but I needed a bigger leg split (or whatever you call it) and ended up dropping 30. Then I didn’t want to get it back up on the rack again. lol
Hey Brad, thanks for teaching me that push-up variation yesterday. I’ll be working on it. Also huge thanks to everyone for helping this newbie out. I appreciate it.
