That is a great photo.
Welp, got the 135lb bar TGU on the right side. Wasted my left side trying to get the right balance point, and never really even got started. Ah well… I’m confident it’s doable now… just gotta balance it right.
Great workout Friday! Good job Adam and Chris!
um, whats death by 10 meters?
I’ll leave the descriptives to our Beloved Leader. But I’ll say this: very few things in CrossFit are described in hyperbolic terms. Fran isn’t F’ing Fran. Nancy isn’t NO WAY Nancy. But Death by 10 Meters…there’s something to it. You do feel a little dead…
This is a cry for help: there are currently 5 Dominicans, Cubans, and Puerto Ricans in an apparent home invasion. Help me please. . .They are about to duck tape my mouth and tie me up with battle ropes. If I do not make it alive, two of the culprits resemble Kenia and Stef C. Help me please. I really want to make it to the WOD tomorrow, but. . .
i believe death by 10 meters is when you run you have 1 minute to run 10 meters once. Then 1 minute to run it twice. Then three times. Until you can’t make it in the amount of time alloted. I think.
Nick,
I would come save you but your two drunk crossfit chicks keep texting me to come and then forgetting that I have no idea where you live.
Not drunk here. I only had one beer but i am guilty of eating two delicious burgers without the bun. yummmmm
GOT NEW SHIRTS IN.. Black t shirt version of the tank top..
buy 5
Save me a shirt Steve. I’m collecting them all!!!
Awesome.. I’m in on the T-shirt. Soon, I’ll never have to wear a non-Ignite shirt again.
I am loving the new T shirts.
Sore, sore, sore
Multi Marc,
back to back workouts will do that. Great job.
Wanted to report in that after making it through to the 12 sprints/minute round of Death By Meters, I realized that it was my 2 month anniversary at CFI yesterday! So empowering to know I’m not only a survivor, but I’m also psyched to forge ahead! Bring it on baby!
This week’s challenges brought great rewards. I’ve graduated from doing a 12″ box jump to a 16″! (I could move up to the 20″ – tried it and did fine, but need a couple of WOD’s with the 16″ to gain some endurance.) He Who Box Jumps 30″ (a new Native American nickname – I think we should all have one!) is my box jumping idol! I also graduated to doing pull-ups with 1 wide and 1 small band! (Was using 1 wide and 1 medium until yesterday!)
OMG – what a fabulous feeling! To the many of you who are way beyond these points….remember when? I watch and admire you all with awe! You all inspire me to keep going and be the best that I can be.
Donna – you’re the best! Always there pushing me over that hill. Stef – I write on this blog because we do it together, and I always have to mention Lili – without her there would be no CFI for me and that would be such a sad thing!
Oh yeah….Steve, save me a t-shirt too!
Great stuff Stephanie…. I sure do “remember when” !!!
So proud of you, Stephanie! You did those pullups so well. It’s cool to see you getting stronger
Stephanie, it was so awesome to see you run 12 rounds yesterday. And then, to see you kill that 20″ was icing on the crossfit cake!
Deb M – I was so remiss not to mention you as one of my head cheerleaders also……..mmmmmwwwwwwaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!
Awesome Stephanie!
GREAT JOB STEF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU ROCK.
YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD !!!!
xoxo
Awesome Stef…you are getting stronger by the WOD.
Stephanieeeeeee, so proud of you!!!!!
