#1. It kind of bothers me that you are counting down in this wod and you go from 30 to 200 to 10.

#2. This is a crazy Saturday WOD!

Ok, so i leave for my trip to Antigua early in the A.M…..and i have been putting some thought into how am i going to a handstand in my CFI shirt next to some waterfall, mountain, or what have you. It seems that doing a handstand on vacation is the thing to do at CFI.

Problem is I cant do a Handstand!!! I figure a faceplant will have to suffice. I am really good at them!!!! Cant wait to share those pics with all my fellow igniters. This is what we do!!!!

Peace Muchacho’s and Muchacha’s. (hows my spanish? Rosetta Stone working)

See you all in a week.

    @Coach Steve.

The email is connollynicholas@yahoo.com. I need you to send me daily wods to do while im antigua. I’m afraid to go into the Resorts Gym, I feel like i wont be accepted. Body weight workouts would be perfect.

Thanks coach….i already know you wont say no to sending me my daily wods.

I missed the Sat WOD because I slept 14 hours last night. Dam you Late Night Igniters that kept me out on Thursday!!

  9. Stef C. on August 21st, 2010 12:23 pm

T-Rev!!! I stayed up just as late and made it to the WOD today. NO EXCUSES!!!! haha, but then again I didn’t drink, so I had a slight advantage. Anyways, glad you got to sleep it off.

Nick is now in Antigua doing his “WODS’ of:

    AMRAP (ALL DAY):
    Sunbathing
20-arm curls of picking up beer and drinking then putting back down
5-getting up to go to restroom
    Sleeping

    New mantra:

I will refrain from teasing Steve about WODs that I don’t actually go to. (But I really am sick!!!)

    Also,

i love the vacation WOD Stef.

Today was my last day at the beach and I did this workout as rx’d. Pull ups off the life guard stand suck. So do burpees in the sand.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this week. Not looking forward to sucking wind.

You know what T-Rev?? you are indeed a Spartan Warrior because you did manage to do a WOD ON FRIDAY even after working all day on no sleep and a belly full of ale. Kudos to you.! =)

Adam, hurry back to Ignite, we miss you!! =)

Had a great workout today. Ran the 800 w no walking. I also attempted pull ups on the bar for the first time. Thanks Deb for helping me push through the plate walk.

    I wasn’t pretending T-REV! Lol

WOD: 9.5 mile trail run with Rich in Alpine on the Palisades. Longer course and high humidity (more sweat), led to the demise of my Vibram Five Fingers (KSO Treks.) I definitely amortized the cost, so I feel no regrets. But it is interesting to note that these things do have a useful life, and it’s a lot less than the 500 miles you expect with normal Adidas or New Balance…
