Day 15: Clean One Room
Task 1: Morning Routine (does not have to be in this order, just do all) (45-60min)
This should be done alone and in quiet. My noise canceling headphones have been a life saver.
Meditation – Listen to this (10min)
Move – Follow this (5min)
Silence – Sit and do your morning minute (1-2min)
Journal – Set your timer and write for 10min *3 gratitude’s + anything that comes to mind* (10min)
Read – Set your timer and read anything you choose for 10 min *No blogs or social media* (10min)
Plan – Break out your mindfulness sheets or planner and set your intentions for the day. (10min)
Task 2: We eased you in yesterday. Today, we’re going to put time into cleaning one room.
Why: Improving your environment is the best way to teach your mind how much control you have over your world and how much power you have. If you don’t have the time for an entire room, or if it’s too daunting, how about one table or one drawer? Or set a timer for the amount of time you want to dedicate to it and clean up for that amount of time then walk away.
The aim is we’re bringing the order we’ve begun to build in our mind out into our world in the most accessible way.
